i took my dog and my drone for a walk yesterday.i think i’m going to start doing that more—the drone part lol.

and my other cameras too...

i didn’t really have a full plan, just a feeling that whatever i captured, i’d turn into something. most of our walks end the same way—him in the water, completely unbothered by the temperature—so i figured if i was going to be in this little film too, i had to commit.

even if it was 50 degrees in massachusetts.

so yeah, i went in the water.

it didn’t feel like much in the moment. just a walk, a few shots, nothing crazy. but the vision really came together in the edit. that’s where it always clicks for me.

color grading, pacing, music—that’s when it turned into something more than just clips.

somehow i took a dull, grey april day and made it feel soft. warm, even. like one of those quiet moments that actually means something.

it ended up being this simple little piece about me and my dog—nothing overcomplicated, just honest.

shoutout olivia dean for the song because it fit the vibe way too well.shoutout moose for always being down to be my co-star.and honestly, shoutout myself—because pulling this together in a day, from a random walk, feels kind of insane.

i think my biggest takeaway is this:

just trust the idea. even if it’s small. even if it doesn’t make sense yet.

just try it—because why not.
